Jerome Lingo is currently teaching in the Hong Kong Academy as a Secondary School Learning Support Teacher focused in Mathematics.
He finished his masters degree in Multidisciplinary Studies in State University of New York, Buffalo State. Prior to Hong Kong, he taught in several international school across the globe, namely, International School of Tanganyika in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, American International School of Johannesburg in South Africa and Academia Cotopaxi in Quito, Ecuador where he co-built the first intensive learning support program in South America and had the privilege to present among other educators in Association of American Schools in South America (AASA) conference in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is also a part of the board of directors for the SENIA Hong Kong Chapter.
On top of teaching, he is also a volleyball coach in his former and present schools. An adrenaline junkie and enjoys seeing the world while ticking some bucket list activities – Skydiving in Cape Town, swimming with the whale sharks, paragliding in Brazil, and swimming at the edge of a waterfall to name a few.
