Catherine is a mother to 4 boys who to varying degrees have had special needs, leading her down this rabbit hole of wonderful adventures of special educational needs, its range, breadth and depth (and how misunderstood it still is). She is a firm believer in helping each individual maximise their own potential and the power of the village in supporting that effort.
Catherine started her career as an investment officer with DBS Asset Management in Singapore in 1995 and has since managed various regional & global funds, both long and short, generalist and specialist. She was named one of the 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds (awarded by The Hedge Fund Journal) in 2017, Asiamoney’s Top 10 fund managers and featured in various books including Investing with Young Guns: The Next Generation of Investment Superstars Book by James Morton and
Harriman’s New Book of Investing Rules: The Do’s and Don’ts of the World’s Best Investors, edited by Christopher Parker.
