Hi there! I’m Arcelia Navarro, a programs and operations specialist from Los Angeles. Over the past two decades, I’ve delved into diverse professional landscapes both domestically and abroad, honing a versatile skill set across various industries.
Whether flying solo or collaborating within teams, I thrive on crafting operational systems and strategies that transcend conventional boundaries. My passion lies in designing and implementing programs that seamlessly blend physical, virtual, and hybrid elements to drive organizations towards their goals. Drawing from evidence-based methodologies, I infuse each project with motivational reinforcement strategies from the behavioral sciences.
I love building relationships so that I can better nurture and empower team members to foster environments primed for productivity and success. My journey has been a mosaic of roles, each contributing to my well-rounded expertise. I am where I am today from personalized learning and interdisciplinary collaboration with experts around the world.
During my time as the Special Education Needs Director at SHINE Academy in Shanghai, I spearheaded the development of Individualized Learning Plans and their comprehensive reporting, ensuring tailored educational experiences for each student. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in crafting baseline assessment tools to gauge student progress effectively. Concurrently, as a Senior Program Manager at Essential Learning Group, I focused on the holistic development of inclusion programming for expat children. This included designing and delivering program goals while delivering an interdisciplinary approach encompassing speech, physical, and social-emotional development. Through training sessions and workshops, I used my knowledge in methodologies like TEACCH, ABA, Floortime, Crisis Intervention, and others, ensuring comprehensive support for both students and staff.
I have an MS in Project Management from the University of Southern California and a BA in Biological Anthropology from UC Berkeley. With that, I bring a blend of strategic insight and a deep understanding of human behavior to every project. I am proficient in navigating bureaucratic landscapes and wielding operating systems and applications with finesse. My super power lies in data collection and data analysis to inform my project coordination. I love public speaking, and I am fluent in Spanish.
I’m the proud mother of a wonderfully creative girl, and I happily share my home with an adorable Sheepadoodle and a charming Persian Cat whom I’ve lovingly welcomed as part of our family
